I almost missed this notice but decided to read it because I knew of only one person named Doris while I lived as a young child in Daleville, Indiana. It belonged to my friend's older sister, Doris Hough. Sure enough, this is about her. I remember seeing Doris at Daleville High School and how pretty I always remembered her being. ~ The end always comes, and yet this is sad news today. I want to express my condolences to my friend, Carolyn Hough Walker and her family and the families on both sides. I remember how I longed to grow up and look just like either Doris or Carolyn. It sounds like Doris lived a happy and full life and was an important and contributing member to all who surrounded her. And that makes me happy today. And, yes, she is still pretty. ~ God Bless.
