Charles Oscar Taylor Jr., 81 of Muncie, died Saturday morning, January 20, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born July 5, 1936 in Rugby, TN and was the son of the late Charles, Sr. & Minnie (Davis) Taylor.

Charles was an extremely active man, who loved fixing up old houses, working with wood, fishing, boating and camping. He had worked for Kirkland Construction for 13 years and Kirby Wood Lumber for 29 years.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marsha Taylor (Campbell) of Muncie; his four children, Larry Joe Taylor of Selma, Randy Taylor (Tina) of Selma, Teri Runyon (Sonny) of Muncie and Tina Whitmire (Roy) of Muncie; eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; a sister Carline Buczkowski of Farmington, MI; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death two brothers Johnny and Corell Taylor; four sisters Gladys Berry, Vera Medley, Morine Pittman, and Josephine Mays.

Funeral Services for Charles will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Greiner officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
