Andrew Jackson "Jack" Mace
Andrew Jackson Mace, 85 of Albany, died late Sunday evening, July 17th, 2016 at Golden Living Center of Muncie. He was born April 22nd, 1931 in Jamestown, TN and was the son of the late Walter & Sarah (McCloud) Mace.
Andrew retired from Warner Gear after 37 years of service. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Andrew is survived by three step-children, Jack Shewmake, Rick Shewmake (Becky) , and Ronda Sisco; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters Sally Huston of Bradenton, FL; Eileen Storie of Dayton, OH, and June Mitchell of Phoneton, OH; nine nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Chuck Mace and a sister Lou Clemons.
Funeral Services for Andrew will be held Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial with military honors being conducted by the United States Army and the Delaware County Honor Guard will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home
