Michael Edward Carter
Michael Edward Carter, 53 of Muncie, died unexpectedly late Thursday evening at his mother’s residence. He was born March 14th, 1963 in Muncie and is the son of Helen Lucille (Pitman) Carter and the late Edward J. Carter.
Michael proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He loved to go fishing, camping and gardening. Michael loved his family greatly. He attended the Sound the Alarm Church of God.
Michael is survived by his wife Susan Lenore Carter of Muncie; two son’s Dustin Carter of Muncie and Rodney Carter of Bloomington; three daughters Samantha Carter of Dunkirk, Oliva and Rachel Carter both of Muncie; his mother Helen Lucille Carter of Muncie; a brother Darrell Carter of Dayton, OH, and a sister Linda Gale Carter of Dayton, Ohio; three step children Ivan C. Davis of Anderson, Jasmin R. Davis and Anthony J. Davis both of Muncie.
Funeral Services for Michael will be held Wednesday, October 19th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Prewitt officiating. Burial with military honors being conducted by the United States Army and the Delaware County Honor Guard will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
