Tina Marie Utt (Tankersley)
Tina Marie (Tankersley) Utt, 57, of Muncie, died Saturday morning, October 15, 2016 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie. She was born September 22nd, 1959 in Norton, VA and is the daughter of Jonah Edward Tankersley and the late Betty Louise (Hartsock) Tankersley.
Tina was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved children and dogs. Tina was an avid IU Basketball Fan. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting dolls, and dancing. Tina worked as a postal clerk at the Pennville Post Office.
Tina is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Frederick C. Utt of Muncie; a son Wesley Utt (Michelle) of Muncie; two grandson’s Austin and Corey Utt of Muncie; her father Jonah Edward Tankersley of Pennville; a brother Joe Tankersley (Annie) of Pennville; nephew Josh Tankersley (Alicia) of Berne, niece Angie Marshall (Andy) of Middlebury, nephew Daniel Zimmerman of Bakersfield, CA, and nephew Michael Utt of Springport.
Funeral Services for Tina will be held Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Stephen Conner of Buena Vista Christian Congregational Church officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home . Contribution may be made to the Muncie Animal Relief Fund (ARF), with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
