Condolence: Kristin - a poem about loss that I hope will comfort you....
The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle
warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains…..
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

Condolence: Kristin and Tyler,
I am so sorry for your loss and I am sorry I was unable to attend the service today. 30 years ago I was the director of the women and children's area at BMH. My 2 sons were also born there. So I knew Sandy on a professional level and as a patient. She was an amazingly skilled nurse and a very gracious woman.
I remember Sandy hosting a Christmas dinner party for the postpartum staff.....She was the most delightful hostess, the tables exquisitely set, and everything was well done. As a young nurse at the time, I had never been to a nicer dinner party hosted by a most gracious hostess.
After my younger son was born there were multiple complications and I was hospitalized for two weeks. Sandy provided superb care.....Physically, emotionally, and spiritually during this challenging time.
Sandy lived life well and always spoke so highly and lovingly of you and Curtis. May God bless you. My sympathy.
